As some of you may know I don't wear a watch. I don't know what it is, it's never had much of an appeal to me. Sure it'd be useful but I've never seem to like one long enough to actually buy/wish for it as a birthday/christmas/graduation gift. Maybe it's because I've been looking at the wrong type of watches. Women's watches!
Yes, I have recently developed a taste for mens watches. It all started on my vacation in New York, having brunch at Balthazar's and seeing an extremely chic woman, sipping coffee, all the while having a mens Panerai Luminor snapped to her wrist. At first it seemed out of place on her dainty wrist but the longer I looked at it the more I began to understand the contrast and statement a mens watch can make on a beautiful woman. I like the hardness, androgynes and edge it can add to an outfit. Now you have the explanation of why I'm wearing my boyfriends watch! I've been stealing a lot of his things lately (t-shirts, sweaters etc.) and saw it lying around (he has two for god's sake) and decided to try it on and really liked it. What do you think?
