Those who follow me on Instagram and Snapchat (@veroniquedeval) know that I was invited to discover the black sea region of Turkey a couple weeks ago.
The trip was organised by Türkei Tourism and as expected our schedule was jam-packed. We spent 5 days discovering the hidden green mountains of Borçka-Karagöl, rafting down the river Firtina, picking tealeaves at a traditional tea plantation, visiting ancient mosques of Rize, sunbathing by the Black Sea and all the while drinking lots and lots of delicious Turkish tea. Every meal was accompanied by delicious Köfte (a kind of meatball) and a traditional shepherd's salad, made up of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and lettuce. Our nights were partly spent in grande 5 star hotels in the City of Trabzon and the also in adorable, traditional huts way up in the mountains. Discovering the foreign country and culture was most rewarding, a real treat and most definitely eye-opening. Thank you again!
A few weeks ago I went on a press trip to discover the black sea region in turkey (in depth post on that to follow). And we made a pit stop along this pee, offering up the perfect opportunity to capture images of my new watch by Skagen, a danish minimalistic brand with focus on design and contemporary innovation.

As some of you may know, I do the PR for the Swiss TV channel 3+. And one of their main productions is the reality show "The Bachelorette". Frieda Hodel was Switzerland's first and was managed by me towards the end of her season. Now she's opened up a health and lifestyle studio and she was nice enough to invite me to test her Cyclone Shape, a laser treatment against cellulite. With summer finally here a little bum primping never hurt. And I was pleasantly surprised with the result. After one session my skin was visibly smoother. But in order to achieve a maximum result, 4-6 sessions would be necessary. Find out more on her website here.
